Meet Matthew, the 4th owner of David Stern Window Treatments, and the son of the previous owners for the last 40 years, Steve and Donna. Matthew grew up in this business - he spent many afternoons as kid hanging around in the store, and was put to work as soon as he could be trusted with a screw driver. By 14, he was repairing and retaping blinds, and by 18, he was out on the field doing many of the business’ commercial work. Previously a high school teacher, Matthew decided to focus on the business when Steve and Donna felt ready for retirement. Please do not think Matthew overlooks their wisdom though; not only are they still his full time parents but also his full time business advisers as well. Matthew’s plan is to continue offering the personalized customer service that we have always provided, but expand our motorization options.
